“Keep an eye on our award winning STEM program as Mr. Milgrim leads our Middle School and High School STEM students toward an initial goal of students creating 10,000 surgical face masks for our community! Home Depot, Math Education Science Achievement (MESA) and community backing are supporting the initiative! The Mayo Clinic has enthusiastically endorsed the prototypes!” – Mr. Jeff Blake
“Want to join me in making a difference? We’re raising money to benefit health care workers who are in need of face shields, and any donation will help make an impact. Our MESA (Math Engineering Science Achievement) students from our school will be designing and building face visors from home by using re-purposed materials. Our goal is to build between 30,000 to 40,000 face visors by the end of the school year so that healthcare workers can use these while fighting this deadly virus. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. All money will be used to purchase the materials necessary to build these efficiently. These will be delivered to the Mayo Clinic once they are built. They have approved the final design today, April 2, 2020. We will start mass producing these face shields next week! It is totally because many of you have given that this is even possible!” – Mr. Milgrim
Join us as we make a difference!
“We have now raised over $4,200 on Go Fund Me! Students are receiving their building materials and we will have over 6,000 face shields built and delivered by April 20th and then have another 6,000 face shields built and delivered by April 27th!”
