Admissions Criteria

Phoenix Christian Preparatory School welcomes students who are eager to learn and grow within a Christ-centered community. We look for families who share our commitment to academic excellence, character development, and spiritual formation.

Academic Expectations:
Students should demonstrate grade-level academic performance, typically equivalent to a C average or above. We review report cards, standardized test scores, and NWEA MAP screener results as part of our evaluation.

Behavior & Character:
We request official behavior records from your student’s current or most recent school. Students should have no failing grades on their most recent transcript.

Please Note:
A single failing grade or isolated behavior incident doesn’t automatically disqualify a student. Our admissions team evaluates each situation individually to determine the best path forward.

Provisional Admission:
In some cases, students may be offered provisional admission if certain criteria aren’t fully met. This allows families and students to partner with us on specific goals and interventions while getting started at Phoenix Christian.

Learning Differences:
Students with an active Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or documented learning differences are considered through our RISEN Program (Responding to Individual Student’s Educational Needs). Contact our admissions team to learn more about the support we offer.

Tuition & Financial Aid

We believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to a quality Christian education. Phoenix Christian works with Arizona’s School Tuition Organization (STO) and Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) programs to make private education accessible to more families.

Key Financial Information:

  • Arizona STO: Tax-credit scholarships available for Arizona taxpayers
  • Arizona ESA: State-funded education savings accounts for eligible students
  • Payment Options: Pay in full, by semester, or through a 10-month payment plan via FACTS

Financial Aid Note: After acceptance, families are required to set up automated payments through FACTS for any balance not covered by STO, ESA, or other scholarships.
