Founded in 1949 as the first Christian high school in Arizona, Phoenix Christian Preparatory School now serves Infant (8 weeks) through 12th grade in the heart of the city, boasting an alumni base nearly 5,000 strong. And we’re just getting started.
We often see Phoenix Christian alumni returning to their alma mater, some of which have been on staff for decades. Each staff and leader has unique stories of their experiences, and a commitment rooted in passion for the school and their students.
Superintendent
Mr. Blake began his teaching career at PC in 1997 and dove in wholeheartedly, serving as teacher, coach, StuCo advisor, and Department Head. He then transitioned into full-time Student Ministry at a local church from 2005 to 2008, until God reminded him of the significance of reaching students in the daily school environment. Since returning to PC, he has never looked back. He's served as teacher, department head, school chaplain, our middle school and high school principal, and now superintendent. His love for the school, staff, and students is evident in every decision.
International Program Director
Mr. Edouard is an alumnus of Phoenix Christian class of 2007. He then earned his Associates in Arts & General Education. Mr. Edouard transferred to Northern Arizona University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in public administration. He has decided to come back to PC this time to serve as the International Director. Along with his work at PC, he serves on the Board for the United Food Bank, mentors the youth, and he is the defensive line coach at PC. Mr. Edouard states “Phoenix Christian opened their doors to him; He was able to make quality friends and work on his faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. One of his favorite scriptures is “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” – Mark 9:37
High School STEM Director
Mr. Milgrim (PC Class of 1988) started the MESA program at PC and led both the middle school and high school teams to a State Championship in 2018. Drawing on over two decades of teaching experience, he engages the minds of students through hand-on activities such as robotics competitions, hydroponics experimentation, and basic engineering and design. He is passionate about sharing the Gospel and impacting students to be witnesses of Christ in their communities and throughout the world.
High School English Teacher
Mr. Hendricks has over three decades of experience as a teacher and has dedicated over 20 years of his life to teaching students at PC. He continues to teach because he knows this is where God wants him to be. His wife teaches at PC Elementary, and his three sons graduated from PC as well.
