Why Phoenix Christian: God called me here through a text message from a friend asking if I was interested in teaching ASL here while I was listening to a sermon about not needing to look for your calling, because God will send it to you. Then, it was Divine timing with the R. I.S.E.N. Department.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is a favorite/what does it mean to you.

My favorite Bible verse is Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, just be still.”

The Lord does fight for us, we just need to trust Him.

What is something you do for fun when you are not teaching?

I enjoy doing art, for example: drawing, coloring, or painting.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?

Mr. Morin was like a father to me when I was in junior high and high school. He taught me Science, Bible, and Physics. He also walked me down the aisle at my wedding.
