Why Phoenix Christian? I chose to teach at Phoenix Christian because I believe that education is most powerful when it is rooted in faith. As an educator and ministry leader, I am deeply committed to placing God at the center of every learning experience. Phoenix Christian’s mission to integrate biblical truth with academic excellence resonates with my personal calling to guide students not only in knowledge but in character and spiritual growth. Teaching in a Christ-centered environment allows me to model the love of Christ, encourage students to seek God’s purpose for their lives, and create a classroom culture where faith, integrity, and compassion are foundational. It is a privilege to be part of a community that prioritizes discipleship and equips students to impact the world for His glory.
Romans 1:16—“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes”—holds deep personal significance for me, especially in my calling to teach and mentor young people. In a world that often pressures youth to conform, hide their faith, or question their worth, this verse serves as a powerful reminder that our identity in Christ is something to be celebrated, not concealed. I strive to instill in my students the courage to stand firm in who they are, knowing they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that their faith is a source of strength, not shame. Teaching with this conviction allows me to create a learning environment where students are encouraged to walk boldly in their beliefs, embrace their God-given purpose, and live unashamed of the gospel and of themselves.
