Christine Fox brings 13 years of dedicated teaching experience and a passion for English to Phoenix Christian. With a Master of Arts in English & Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Arizona State University, and additional Master’s degrees in Communication and Liberal Studies from ASU, Christine’s impressive educational background enhances her innovative teaching approach.
Christine excels at student engagement, designing unique projects that captivate students’ imagination while deepening their understanding of literature and writing. Her classroom is known for individualized attention, where she meets each student at their level and helps them develop their unique voice and skills. This personalized approach ensures every student feels valued and supported in their academic journey.
What drives Christine’s passion for Phoenix Christian is its unique missional approach. “I love that PC is a missional school because there is no ‘forcing’ on the students’ side. We get to see them exactly where they are and love them the way Christ loves them,” she explains. “A bonus—we get to see them question, struggle, learn and grow, in academics and faith.”
Christine’s favorite Bible verse reflects her teaching philosophy: “Always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies” (II Corinthians 4:10). This verse guides her daily work with students.“I truly believe in doing what God has called me to do, and He has called me to be here,” Christine shares. “I see it in a million ways.”
