Subjects you teach: 6th grade Earth Science, 7th Grade Life Science, and 8th Grade Chemistry/ Physics

Degrees: Bachelors in Engineering with the Emphasis in Robotics from Grand Canyon University

Relevant Work Experience: I started out teaching in 2020 with PC high school science classes, then moved into PC middle school science in 2021. Before starting teaching I worked as a student worker at Grand Canyon Education, helping local teachers learn how to use technology in their rooms for short hands-on lessons, as well as putting together small low cost STEM kits for teachers to use for their classrooms.

Why Phoenix Christian? I chose Phoenix Chirstian because I believe that it is super important for students today to learn about God and to see how Science can prove that God made our world so beautifully and in his image. That everything that we learn and grow in, is in his name. I grew up in a public school where that was not taught in my classes, but I wished that I would have had this opportunity that these students receive everyday to have learned about the truth of the world.

Question: What is something you do for fun when you are not teaching?
When I am not teaching, my favorite things to do for fun are DIY crafting, and to take care of my two rescue chinchillas Timothy and Theodore.
