Why Phoenix Christian?

My oldest has been here since Kinder (2015) and we loved the school from the start! We went to public school for her 5th and 6th grade years because we moved but as soon as we could bring her back, we did. The way she was received when she came back for 7th grade was beautiful. I remember her 4th grade teacher Mrs. Schlaak gave her the biggest hug during the Launch event PC hosts right before school starts. Mrs. Schlaak screamed her name and cried; she told her she had just been thinking about her and was praying for her.

That is what PC has been to our daughters and to so many other students – love, warmth, prayer, community, a beautiful representation of Christ.

I never imagined I would end up working at a school, but God opened up a door and in His perfect timing I was offered a position on campus! Through every season here since I started in 2022, I have seen God, I have felt God and I know this is HIS campus, this is HIS work.

Favorite verse: “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” – Psalm 46:10

This verse got me through a season in life where I feel like God was doing some pruning in my spirit. He was removing things and I needed to not speak or react, only be still, know He is who He is and that at the end of that season, He would be exalted.
