Bachelors in Elementary Education with a Minor in Psychology

This will be my second year teaching 3rd grade at Phoenix Christian! I completed my student teaching in Kindergarten at Scottsdale Christian Academy and have also gained great experience volunteering and assisting teachers in various public schools throughout the Phoenix area.

Why Phoenix Christian?

I started working at Phoenix Christian because I wanted to be part of a school where faith is at the center of everything. I was drawn to the opportunity to openly share the Gospel with students and to teach in an environment where Christ is honored daily. I also really valued the strong sense of community I saw among staff, families, and students. From the beginning, I could tell that Phoenix Christian was a place where students are truly known, loved, and encouraged to grow both academically and spiritually, and I wanted to be a part of that mission.

My favorite Bible passage is actually an entire chapter—Psalm 139. When I was young, my parents had me memorize it, and I have carried it with me ever since. This chapter is especially close to my heart because it is such a powerful reminder of who God says we are in Him. It also reminds me that God is with me wherever I go and that He is always in control. He knows His creation better than we know ourselves, and I find that very comforting.
