Academic Planning & Advising
Every student receives individualized academic advising, including credit checks, course selection, and four-year planning to ensure they stay on track for graduation. We coordinate scheduling, review transcripts for new students, and conduct graduation audits so nothing falls through the cracks.
College & Career Preparation
We help students discover their strengths and explore their futures through personality assessments and career inventories. Juniors receive college readiness preparation, and seniors work one-on-one with our college advisor to build a post-secondary game plan, complete applications, and secure letters of recommendation. Our team also leads workshops on FAFSA, Common App, and Schoolinks, hosts college representative visits, coordinates a Christian College Fair, and supports student athletes with NCAA/NAIA compliance.
Social-Emotional & Wellness Support
Our K-12 social-emotional counselor provides individualized student assessments, self-harm interventions, and small group facilitation. We collaborate with community counseling agencies and manage outside referrals when students need additional support. Classroom integration, staff training on mandatory reporting, and ongoing student wellness checks ensure every student is seen and supported.
Family Engagement
We believe strong partnerships with families make all the difference. Our department coordinates Parent-Teacher Conferences, hosts events throughout the year for students and parents, and welcomes ongoing communication about your student’s progress and wellbeing.
