This year’s Raise the Roar Homecoming Week was nothing short of incredible — a celebration of faith, community, and Cougar pride that reminded us all why Phoenix Christian is so special. We recorded our highest attendance yet, and every moment overflowed with connection and joy!

The week began with a heartfelt Alumni Chapel, where our talented alumni worship team led the entire school in powerful praise. We were touched by the sweet interviews of students and their alumni parents and grandparents, and deeply moved by a message from alumnus Russ Richardson, who challenged us to choose joy even in life’s hardest moments.

From there, the day overflowed with joy — an alumni brunch, powder puff game, and school-wide assembly that carried the energy right into the evening’s festivities.

That night, our Homecoming Dinner and Carnival was a tremendous success! Families enjoyed delicious food from Miracle Catering, sweet treats from Lomi and Pops, and an evening packed with performances, a petting zoo, and PTO-led fun.

When it came time for kickoff, our Cougars showed up loud and proud! We celebrated several championship teams in the Tent of Champions, including our 2025 Championship Baseball Team under the leadership of Coach Mark Band, the 2015 Women’s Basketball State Champions led by Head Coach Consier and the 2000 4×100 Relay Team. Thank you Little Miss BBQ providing the best barbecue for our champions!

The halftime show was electric — featuring a “Rio” inspired cheer performance, a vibrant parade of students, and the crowning of our 2025 Homecoming Royalty: Yashley and Jordan! The night ended in spectacular fashion with fireworks lighting up the sky — a perfect finale to a week of gratitude and joy.

We would like to thank everyone who helped make this 76th Homecoming unforgettable. You raised the roar, Cougars — and the spirit of Phoenix Christian has never been stronger!
