Why Phoenix Christian?
I have always been called to be a teacher but when my own children started school, I wanted them to have a Christian education. Back in 2014, I walked onto this campus to interview for a high school position so that I could give my own children a Christian education. Immediately when walking onto the campus I knew this was a special place, God’s presence can be felt.
I was hired at that time as a High School teacher, but God called me elsewhere shortly after. However, I did send my children here and I know every day that they are being shown God’s love.
When I was asked to come back as part of the Middle School, I knew that Christ had called me home! I want to be able to share my faith with students who may not have a personal relationship with Christ. Since Phoenix Christian, is a mission school, this place allows me to do that. I knew it was where I was meant to be!

Favorite Bible Verse
Romans 8: 26 -27
These verses mean that I do not have to worry about my life like those who do not have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, but rather I get to live a life directed by God’s will. I have
long ago realized I do not know what is best for me and that asking the Holy Spirit to direct my heart and life means that I am living the most adventurous and best life possible.
