Preschool Requirements: · Three’s program must be three years old by September 1st and potty trained no exceptions. · Pre-K program must be four years old by September 1st. DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS A. Academic Criteria - Satisfactory attendance for the previous school year. (All grades)
- Satisfactory behavior record for the previous school year. (All grades)
- A 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the last year of school; standardized test scores may be considered. (2nd – 12th)
- No failing grades on the student’s most recent school transcripts. * (All grades)
B. Spiritual Criteria: - At least one parent/guardian must be a born-again Christian and be able to communicate a personal testimony. (All grades)
- At least one parent/guardian must be a current regular attendee of a Biblically based church. (All grades)
- At least one parent/guardian of the student profess that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the final authority for one's life and practice. (All grades)
- Students are expected to be regular attendees of a Biblically based church. (All grades)
- Student must provide positive indication of understanding of Phoenix Christian’s Statement of Faith and an openness to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (All grades)
C. Attitudinal Criteria - Demonstrate a strong desire to attend and become part of Phoenix Christian Unified Schools. (All grades)
- Satisfactorily interview with Phoenix Christian Unified School Administrator. (All grades)
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to following Phoenix Christian’s policies and procedures. (All grades)
* A one time failing grade may not exclude a student from admission, but circumstances will be evaluated during admission process to determine if admission can proceed.
