BS Bryan College - K-12 Music Education
Med Augusta State University - Supervision and Administration

Professional Experience:

6 Years in classroom teaching K-12 music in christian schools
17 Years in administration in christian schools in Georgia, Florida, Maryland and Michigan
15 Years directing adult and children's choirs and leading church music

Personal Testimony: 

Early in my teaching experience I learned that "real world" education includes and incorporates the truths of God and His Word. There is no separating the sacred and secular; all of life should be lived in light of God's truth and in a way that brings Him glory. I am committed as a parent and as an educator to help each child grow to the full extent of their God-given ability and to learn to apply Biblical truth to every aspect of their lives. 

Personal Information: 

I have been married to my wife Carol since July 1986 and we have three children (Joy, Class of 2010 at Bryan College; James, Class of 2010 at PCHS; Jonthan, Class of 2018 at PCUS). I was born in Bangkok Thailand and have always enjoyed traveling. I am a fan of college and pro football and basketball and recently NASCAR. Some of my favorite music comes from Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman, FFH, Casting Crowns, Kenny G and the Beach Boys.
