Professional Experience: 

Dr. Brown served 12 years in Arizona and Oregon teaching K-12 music in public and Christian schools in the areas of band, choir, strings, and general music.  He also coordinated music education programs for 5 years in the supervision of pre-service teachers at the University of Evansville (IN) and Kentucky Christian University.  As an Adjunct Professor at Southwestern College since 2005, he continues teaching courses in music education methods and instrumental conducting.

Personal Testimony:

Whether working closely with colleagues and students in school related activities or serving the community, I think it is vitally important to allow Jesus Christ to work in and through me.  I truly believe Christian education offers a more effective and enriching experience to children’s lives, providing a godly perspective to learning through the application of biblical principles and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.  As a Christian school administrator, I believe learning from and modeling after teachers who have a strong commitment to Christ is vitally important to the educational and spiritual development of students.  

Personal Information:

Lori and I have been happily married since 1990 and are blessed with three wonderful children:  Avery (class of 2012), Dillon (class of 2017), and Kerali (class of 2020).  As a native Arizonan, I love living in the beautiful Southwest and enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, and fishing.  I also serve the community of Buckeye as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 515.
